Baltic Hub Container Terminal Sp. z o.o. is the largest and fastest growing Polish container terminal and the only deep-water terminal in the Baltic Sea region, to which ships from the Far East call directly.
The Baltic Hub terminal is located in the heart of the Baltic Sea - in the Port of Gdansk.
Baltic Hub was launched in 2007 under the name DCT Gdańsk and has transhipment capacity of up to 2.9 million TEU per year.
The total length of two deep-water terminal quays is 1.3 km, which allows 4 ships to be served simultaneously. The terminal serves over 700 ships a year, including 100 calls from the world's largest container ships.
Baltic Hub was the first container terminal in the Baltic Sea to which ships from Asia directly called, and today it is the destination of the largest units in the world departing from China, Korea and other Asian countries.

The terminal supports Polish import, export, transit and sea transit. Thanks to good access from the sea, lack of ice, excellent operational capabilities and investments in infrastructure implemented by the Polish government and the city of Gdańsk, Baltic Hub Container Terminal Sp. z o.o. is very well connected to cargo destinations located in the interior of the country and is a natural gateway to Central and Eastern Europe for containerized trade.
Employees and economic impact
BH employs over 1,400 people, of whom over 50 percent lives in and around Gdansk. The terminal has a direct and significant impact on the regional and Polish economy, generating over PLN 12 billion per year to the state budget due to VAT, excise duties and customs duties.
Ownership structure
BH is owned by PSA International (40%), the Polish Development Fund (30%) and the IFM Global Infrastructure Fund, whose adviser is IFM Investors (30%).
